Ike and Fly is a slow fashion brand owned and opereated by designer and milliner Sally Doe. Sally is currently enjoyng making womens hats from her extensive collection of beautiful vintage and contemporary fabrics for her store.
From her studio in the coastal city of Newcastle NSW Sally tailor makes designs inspired by silhouettes from mid 20th Century to modern day classics. Her extensive of range styles, from woolen berets to wide brimmed beach hats ensures there's a hat for every season and occassion (apart from race day that is!)
Sally loves the processes involved in hat making. Hats offer a canvas for her creativity and love of natural textiles which she crafts into a practical and useful item. Recycling and upcycling reflect her passion for vintage fabrics and commitment to eco design and sustainability.
